  \

She was known as the Soul Diva from The Voice of the Philippines. After releasing her self-titled debut album, ASAP's Homegrown Dive Klarisse De Guzman is ready for another stage her first solo concent entitled " The Voice of Klarisse De Guzman: Live in Concent" om August 29, 8pm at Teatrino , Promenade Mall.

The Voice Philippines is an eye opener for her to come back in her passion which is MUSIC. Few years ago she stop singing because of lost of confidence and  continues rejections. GREATFUL: , BLESS , HAPPY, DREAMING and HUMBLE the five words that describe Klarisse, Said " Personality and Attitude keep Klarisse in the industry ". Klarisse favorite song in her albums is " Sayang Naman " and "Magpakailanman"

Klarisse De Guzman isn ot new to competition. After finishing second on The Voice of the Philippines, she is ready to face a bigger Challenge - making it on her own with her self titiled debut album under MCA Music. The dive in the making brought something new to the table this time, expressing her personal singing style that is defferent fom how she started.

Amateur singing contests was Klarisse playground and training ground. Celing Dions " All By My Self" was her sure win piece and gets added " Luck "  by competing with a slice of ginger on her tongue the entire time. Her strategy got her enough competions and  confidence to try the big leagues, She finished 2nd in Batang Kampeon at 9 years old, a place higher than international singing sensation Charice who gor 3rd prizw. The drivein 12 year old joined Star For A Night next but got eliminated during the semi-finals by a now household name, Sarah Geronimo.

Klarisse came to a point that she lost her confidence in singing due to successive rejections and fatigue from competing, She pursued heer studies instead at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde and learned music inside the classroom, She didn't know that her thirst for performance and competiong was still there. As if it was destined, she has passed every screening for the Voice and coincidentally got her former rival Sarah G as coach " Sabi nya ( Sarah Geronimo ) sa akin, 'Nauna lang ako. Andito ako para dalhin ka sa panahon mo ( To become big ),' The battles were tough but the 22 year old belter managed to finish strong and bagged secong place, And this time, she was just more fired up to finally make her dreams come true.

Finally, Klarisse is on her way to becoming the artist she was destined to become. Aside from the songs she sang during The Voice (" I Can't Make You Love Me', 'To Love Somebody'. ' The Climb' and ' Slowly') and the original theme for the teleserye Mirabella ("Sabihin Mo Sa Akin') she also added 3 original songs in the mix. Her debut single, "Di Kayang Pilitin'- written by Klarisse herself, is way different from her usual contest pieces - less birit, and more soul. "Gusto ko po talgang maging singer-songwriter tapos medyo soul and music ko." She has been pretty hands on with the production of her album as well. Also included are songs composed by Arnee Mendaros ('Sang Naman") and Toto Sorioso ('Magpakalanman") The album likewise features her versions of hit love songs ( Everythig I Do ) I Do It For You (Bryan Adams) and Stuck On You (Lionel Richie).

The concert will be held at Teatrino, Promenade Mall on Friday, August 29, at 8pm, Klarisse will be performing songs off the album and will be joined by guest MCA Music artists Nyoys Volante and fellow . the Voice finalist PAolo Onesa.
